Actioned (or Actioned.com or app.actioned.com or the “Services” or the “App”) is a web-based application developed by Outmarketing Pty Ltd (the “Company” or “we”). The App is used as a to-do list / task management system / team planning system / accountability system / agile planning system / productivity tracking system to help its users (“you”, “users”, “customers”) plan their tasks and work better together as a team. Actioned allows users, within the same team, to share internal information for better collaboration and productivity.
Your privacy is important to us
The information we collect
Actioned may collect the following types of information from and about you. This data may consist of, but is not limited to:
- contact information, such as your name, email address and any contact information that you choose to provide when you sign up for Actioned;
- the information you provide when you use the app while communicating with other members on Actioned, such as your planned and completed actions, tasks, goals, team information and messages to other users;
- the content of all communications on or through Actioned: user messages (to Actioned or to other team members), feedback, suggestions and ideas sent to us or any other information that you provide when you contact or engage with us regarding the app;
- other information such as your physical address, billing information (credit card), and phone number/s
- any other information you upload, share with other users, or provide directly to us through the Services;
- information about how you use our Services, such as how you view or engage with the app or the frequency and duration of your activities using the app.
Actioned may also receive information about you from other services you use, such as integrations, according to their terms and policies. We may use information received for the purposes, described in ‘Use of personal information’ section of this Policy.
Actioned may collect information from or about the devices (computers, phones or other devices) where you use our Services. This can include, but is not limited to the device location, type of device, and type of browser. We may use the information we collect from your different devices, to help us provide the Services more consistently across your devices.
Actioned collects information provided by your browser and/or operating system when you use the app, including, but not limited to, your Internet protocol (IP) address, other browser or device identifiers, browser type and version, operating system, crash data, other webpages you’ve visited just prior to accessing the app, the date and time of your visit, information about your activities and actions (the links you follow or pages you view) within the app and other standard server log information.
“Cookies” are small pieces of text used to store information on web browsers. They are used to store and receive identifiers and other information on computers, phones and other devices. (There are also other technologies, including data stored on your web browser or device, identifiers associated with your device and other software, which are used for similar purposes. However, for simplicity, we will refer to all of these technologies as “cookies”.)
Data from children
Actioned is not intended for children under 16 years of age as it is intended as a tool for the workplace. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 and if we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification or parental consent, we will immediately delete that information. If you believe we have any information from or about a child under 16, please contact us.
Collection of personal information
Browsing the Actioned website is possible without providing any personal data. However, if you want to use the Actioned app (through our web application or other apps), collection and processing of personal data is necessary for the proper provision of the app. When accessing the app, users create an account and team/s on the Actioned app using personal data and other information (such as the IP address, date and time) are also stored. Each time a user accesses Actioned, additional information about their usage may be collected.
The storage of this data is the only way to prevent the misuse of our Services, and, if necessary, to make it possible to investigate committed offences. Moreover, the storage of this data is necessary to secure Chanty as a data controller. This data is not passed on to third parties unless there is a statutory obligation to pass on the data, or if the transfer serves the aim of criminal prosecution.
Users can also subscribe to Actioned emails and blog updates – these are only sent to users if they elect to subscribe or are a user of the app. During the subscription, we also store the IP address, date and time of the subscription. The personal data collected as part of a subscription for these emails will only be used to send our email and blog updates. We do not transfer any personal data collected by the subscription service to any third parties and the subscription can be terminated by the user at any time.
Use of personal information
The personal information you provide to Actioned is collected and processed by the Company strictly for the purposes of providing functionality of the app and improving Actioned, complying with our legal obligations. Customer data is used only by the Company – it is not sold or provided to vendors, email list services, or other marketing companies. From time to time, we may conduct surveys and ask users for voluntary information on various topics. Information supplied in surveys is used only by the Company and is not sold or provided to vendors, email list services, or other marketing companies.
Disclosure of personal information
Actioned will only share information we collect in the following circumstances:
- to third-party service providers who may assist in providing integration services which enhance the services provided;
- to third-party apps or services that you can connect to through the app;
- in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, sale or transfer of some or all of the Company’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by the Company may be transferred to the new owner;
- to help verify accounts and activity, and to promote safety and security of our services, such as by investigating suspicious activity or violations of our terms or policies;
- in response to requests from governmental authorities when the law requires us to do so, or, there are users affected in that jurisdiction, and is consistent with internationally recognized standards;
- as otherwise directed or authorized by you.
Information we store may be accessed, processed and retained for an extended period of time when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation, or investigations concerning possible violations of our terms or policies. We may also retain information from accounts disabled for violations of our terms for at least a year to prevent repeat abuse or other violations of our terms and policies.
Data storage and security
The protection of personal data is of utmost importance to our engineers and we focus heavily on your data security. We take all reasonable precautions with the transmission, processing and storage of personal data, including but not limited to data encryption and restricting access to information from non-essential employees and contractors of the Company.
The Company stores user data until it is no longer necessary to provide the services or the users account is deleted. This is a case-by-case determination that depends on the nature of the data, why it is collected and processed, and relevant legal or operational retention needs.
Access to your personal information
You are entitled to obtain your Personal Data from the Company in order to; update or correct your information; prohibit or block your personal information from being used in violation of the law; obtain the identity of any and all third parties to whom your Personal Data has been disclosed; or receive certification that all obligations have been met, unless this is impossible or requires an effort manifestly disproportionate in comparison to the protected right. You are entitled to opt out of the processing of Personal Data for purposes of sending advertising materials, carrying out market research, or commercial communications. International Transfer of Data
The servers used by Actioned may be located in different locations worldwide, so your information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in a country where the data protection, privacy, and other laws might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. Please rest assured that we take many steps to protect your privacy and respect your personal information. By using our websites, you understand and consent to the collection, storage, processing, and transfer of your information to our facilities in any country and those third parties with whom we share it as described in this policy.
Commitment to the GDPR
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, export and erase your data, as well as the right to restrict and object to certain processing of your data including revoking your consent to store and utilize your data. The GDPR is an important piece of legislation, designed to strengthen and unify data protection laws for individuals within the European Union. Actioned is fully committed to the goals of the GDPR.
